Beer Bar
This is the main bar in the Glasgow University Union and is home to our weekly Beer Bar Quiz. This lively bar is perfect for all occasions, with our famously cheap drinks and notorious Pints of Fun you can come here for a catch up with friends, after exam celebrations or a wild night on any day of the week. With 14 draught taps, a state-of-the-art jukebox, gaming machines and a darts board there is no end of entertainment here. We can’t recommend highly enough you come down on a Thursday night or during one of our big events such as Beach HIVE or St Paddy’s Day to properly witness the spectacle of a packed beer bar with people dancing on the tables singing along to every and any song you can think of. The Beer Bar is potentially the most iconic place on campus!
billiards hall
The Billiards room located on the top floor of the union is the perfect place to relax, drink and play snooker or pool. There are 6 snooker tables with an hourly rental of £4.20, the cheapest in GLasgow, and a further 3 pool tables which are 50p per play. This is a great place at the centre of campus to come between classes, for study breaks or just for some craic in the evenings.
